Red Pine Seedlings - orders open for June 27th pick-up
It's that time of year when your association provides you with the opportunity to purchase seedlings at a great price and we're still taking orders! Since the early 90's LOWDSA members have planted around 300,000 trees, averaging 10,000 each spring for several years now. This year is no exception.
We've had to alter our pick up plans in response to COVID19 travel recommendations and restrictions. We understand that many people may not be able to pick up trees in person, but feel free to delegate someone to get your trees for you. If kept refrigerated they will remain in good condition for planting for a quite a while before planted.
There's still time to place your Red Pine seedling order for 2020, still priced at $10 for a bundle of 15 seedlings. Seedling orders are open to members only until May 22, 2020. After this date, we will open up to the public on a first come, first served basis.
If you'd like to order seedlings but will be unable to pick up your seedlings on June 27th, we will make sure they get planted, thanks to our friends at Lake of the Woods Brewing Company. (see below)

If you cannot arrange for pickup of your seedlings on June 27th, we can arrange to have them planted on your behalf by our friends at the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company. In 2018 we partnered with them to have an additional 5,000 seedlings planted and they've maintained that initiative, planting 10,000 last year with another 10,000 planned for 2020. They have offered to plant any seedlings that our members purchase but cannot pickup to plant themselves. Another great community partnership for LOWDSA in action!
